2016 illustration : the Lion under the spotlights!

Created by the illustrator and painter Nicolas Blind, the illustration of the 30th edition of the Belfort FIMU breaks with the previous visual identity, while coming back to the origins of the festival:

“This hybrid creature associates two pillars of this event: the City of Belfort - embodied here by the head of the Lion of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi - and the musicians, represented by the body of a double bassist. The energy that emanates from the expression and the posture of the character reminds the one felt by these amateur artists who play in professional technical conditions. The use of various warm tones creates a friendly atmosphere. The spotlights are only suggested, like the crowd: without being visible, its presence is tangible... "
